The 101st Annual General Meeting of the Havelock Sports Club will take place today at the Club house at 11.30 a.m.
According to the Secretary Romesh Abeyawickrema’s entry to the meeting will be strictly on production of a valid membership card. The general committee at the meeting held on 28th of September has recommended the following officer bearers and committee members for the years 2016/17.
This year the Havies will be led by a product of Mahanama College Dushmantha “Bodhi” Priyadarshana.
Havies will open the season with Air Force SC on November 5th at Ratmalana, The Airmen possess a well-balanced side and have brought in a new coach Ronnie Ibrahim while Roshan Opatha will be the manager.

Patron. Gamin A Fernando a live wire of the club and a well-known figure in the rugby arena, Vice Patrons are Y.C.Chang , Sarath de Costa, Raj Rodriguesz, Killi Pulendran, Anton Benedict, Michael Jayasekara, Roys Samratunge, and Ana Saranapala.
The two trustees will be Christy Kunanandham and Ivor Mahroof.
