The 155th feast of St. Mary’s Church, Mattakkuliya will be celebrated on December 11. The theme will be “Let’s praise Jesus with Mother Mary”.
The Novenas which began on Thursday, December 1 will continue daily till December 9. The Vespers service presided over by Rev. Fr. Rohan Silva (OMI) will be sung on December 10 at 7.30 p.m. Rev Fr. Patrick Perera will officiate at the festive High Mass in English and Sinhala on Sunday, December 11 at 7.30 a.m.
The procession carrying the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary will parade the streets from 5 p.m. on the Feast Day.
