The Department of Examinations has made arrangements to conduct practical tests of the GCE (O/L) Examination – 2016 countrywide from February 21 to March 8, 2017.
About 172,230 school and private candidates have qualified to sit for practical tests on aesthetic subjects of music, dancing and drama performance. Senior Asst. Provincial Director of Education, Kurunegala, W.M. Balasooriya told the Sunday Observer that about 8,000 examiners would be deployed on evaluation of these practical tests under 2,465 panels of examiners island wide. The Department of Examinations hopes to issue the results of this public examination early April 2017.
