Yasaran Tennekoon Pitawala of Trinity College, Kandy being the Best All-Rounder received the Ryde Gold Medal from Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at the College prize-giving last week. He was the Best All-Rounder in the Primary School as well. He had also captained junior badminton, basketball and cricket teams. He had won the champion athlete award from 2005 to 2009 and playing a keyrole in the college sports activities including national school games bringing honour to the college.
He had also passed the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination in the Arts stream with best results.
