St.Anne’s college deputy skipper Randeer Ranasinghe hit a splendid 98 runs helping st. Anne’s to pile up 307 for 7 wickets on the first day of the 34th Battle of the Rocks against maliyadeva college which started at the picturesque welagedara stadium yesterday.

Meanwhile the 22nd limited overs match will be played tomorrow (19th). Devans won the limited over encounter on 11 occasions while 9 matches were won by annites.
