A fire gutted a house at Andarawewa in Suriyawewa on April 6.
The fire had erupted during its occupants’ absence. The neighbours doused it but clothes and children’s schoolbooks inside the house were completely damaged. The house owner had lodged a complaint with the Suriyawewa police.
