A new self-banking unit of the People’s Bank was recently opened at the Auditor General’s Department at Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte.
The unit, which was installed under the Bank’s digital banking conversion process, is complemented with an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) and Cash Deposit Machine (CDM). The unit is open round the clock all seven days of the week, offering customers a convenient banking service throughout the year.
Auditor General H.M. Gamini Wijesinghe, Chairman of People’s Bank Hemasiri Fernando, CEO/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar, Head of Marketing, Deepal Abeysekara, Deputy General Manager, Channel Management, Bonifus Silva, Deputy General Manager, Banking Support Services, Mahinda Premanath, Assistant General Manager, Channel Management and ATM Operations, Krishantha Gunaratne, Regional Manager, Colombo South, Thushari Hewawasam and the People’s Bank staff as well as clients were also present.
