Dambulla, in reply to Kandy’s 323 for 5 in 50 overs, were 53 for no loss after 7 overs in their Super Provincial One Day tournament match at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium last night.
An unbeaten century by Chamara Kapugedara (105 off 50 balls with two sixers and 14 fours) and a run-a-ball 75 by opener Danushka Gunathillaka (seven fours) helped Kandy to make a commanding 323 for 5 in their allotted 50 overs.
