Flowers are very important and necessary for all living beings. Mature plants and trees produce soft, beautiful flowers. They have soft petals which produce nectar and a sweet fragrance. Flowers are integral to both happiness and sorrow. We use flowers for religious activities. People offer flowers to Lord Buddha and other deities. People use flowers to make decorations for weddings, parties, ceremonies and funerals. We make garlands and bouquets to welcome people and guests. Flowers are used as food, drink, medicine and dyes. So we should protect and grow more flowers.
