Mrs. Anastasia Khokhlova(right) is making her first move at the exhibition chess match against Suneetha Wijesuriya at the inaugural function held at the Russian Centre watched by Buddhapriya Ramanayake , CEO Russian Centre, Colombo.
The Lanka Chess Federation together with Anatoly Karpov Chess Club of the Russian Centre organised a special simultaneous chess exhibition tournament at the Russian Centre Auditorium to commemorate the 25th anniversary of winning the Chess Olympiad gold medal by Sri Lanka’s ten times women’s national champion Fide Master Suneetha Wijesuriya.
At this simultaneous exhibition tourney Suneetha played with 25 players at the same time and within five hours won all games.
