Two ayurveda experts from India who arrived in Sri Lanka recently conducted workshops and seminars at various ayurvedic institutes in Sri Lanka over the past few days. This forms part of the extended celebration of the Third International Day of Yoga.
The visit was coordinated by the High Commission of India, Colombo and the Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine. Discussions focused on topics of common interest such as ‘Ayurveda for chronic kidney disease’ and ‘Development of Ayurveda Management for Non-Communicable Diseases’.
