Robin Hood

13 August, 2017

The book I like the most is the Merry Adventures of Robin Hood. It is written by Howard Pyle. It was first published in 1883 by Scribner. Howard Pyle has written dozens of books, most of them are fairy tales, fables and adventure stories. His famous works are Men of Iron, The Story of King Arthur and His Knights and the Book of Pirates. This story tells us about the adventures of Robin Hood and his merry band in the Sherwood Forest. Robin Hood is called a local hero as he defends the under privileged against oppression. In this story Robin Hood makes new friends like Little John, Friar Tuck, Allan a Dale and also some enemies like Sheriff of Nottingham. I like this because it takes me to the adventures in Sherwood Forest.
