Corporal D.M.C. Dissanayake’s innovative and creative product ‘Novel Flood Shield for Heavy Equipment’ showcased at the ‘Japan Design & Invention Expo’ (JDIE) in Tokyo from August 4-6, won a Silver medal under the Technical category.
Corporal Dissanayake is a member of the 2 Military Intelligence Corps (MIC) of the Sri Lanka Army.
His creative innovation was first exposed at the Army initiated ‘Jaffna Innovate’ exhibition of the Security Forces Headquarters – Jaffna.
