Australian woman finds bullet in her kangaroo steak

13 August, 2017

Aug 4: One couple made an unusual discovery while preparing their dinner.

An Australian woman claims to have found a bullet in a kangaroo steak she bought from Woolworths supermarket in Bargara, Queensland, as reported by News.com.au.

Kath Milroy Pattingale, 39, shared a photo of the fragment in a since-deleted Facebook post.

Pattingale’s husband was about to dish up dinner for his wife when the couple noticed the bullet, according to Mashable.

“Mmmmmm thanks Woolies — nothing more appetising than a bullet in my kangaroo!” the post read.

“This pic was taken on a chopping board when we were cutting up the meat (a 60mm thick fillet) after taking it off the barbie — it didn’t make it to the dinner plate!”

Pattingale told News.com.au that she had left the meat in her fridge for a Woolworths representative to evaluate.

The Daily Meal has reached out to Woolworths for comment.
