Madurai Meenakshi’ a classical dance recital depicting the story of Goddess Meenakshi, will be performed by the artistes of Natya Kala Mandhir, Colombo. This cultural event is presented in association with the India Sri Lanka Foundation, at the Ramakrishna Mission Hall, Wellawatte, on Tuesday, September 5 at 5.45 pm
Dances are choreographed by renowned Bharathanatyam exponent ‘Kalasuri’ Vasugy Jegatheeswaran. The event will be held under the distinguished patronage of the Minister of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs D.M. Swaminathan and Director of the Indian Cultural Centre, Rajshree Behera as Guest of Honour.
