Two books on Ancient National Heritage written by Sirisaman Wijetunge, former Assistant Director of Department of Archaeology and Secretary of Prof. Senarat Paranavitana Foundation will be launched at the International Book Fair at the BMICH at 9. 30 am today.
The books originally written in Sinhala have been translated into English by Sarath De Silva.
Veteran journalist, Kalakeerthi Dr. Edwin Ariyadasa will be the chief guest on this occasion.
Well-known literary personalities Thilakaratne Kuruvita Bandara, Dr. Praneeth Abesundara, Dr.Premadasa Alawattage, Jayantha Kalupahana, Udeni Sarachchandra, Anjani Wickramage and Samudra Dayani De Silva will also make presentations. The books have been published by the Samudra Book Publishers.
