The Committee of inquiry has found that Panadura SC and Kalutara PCC are guilty of misconduct and not playing to the spirit of the game and therefore at the Sri Lanka Cricket ExCo meeting held last evening a unanimous decision was taken to

1. Declare the match null and void and adjust the points table for 2016/17 accordingly;

2. To recover match fees for the match from both clubs and impose a fine of Rs. 500,000 on each club;

3. To suspend the two captains Manoj Deshapriya and Chamara Silva from all cricket related activities for 2 years with immediate effect;

4. To suspend all other players and coaches from all cricket related activities (including playing, coaching and administration) for a period of one year with immediate effect;
