The ‘Munchee’ National Volleyball Championship organized by Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation for Super League and Amateurs has reached its final stage. The semi finals of the Super League and Amateurs got under way yesterday at Kotawila Indoor Complex, Matara.
The organizers expect to conduct the following matches today are Men’s Amateurs’ semi final 1 between Waginers SC vs SLAOC SC and Golden Tigers SC, Kurunegala vs Creatorsw SC Kegalle. The Super League third place and the Amateur too will be played on this day.
The men and women from all parts of the country were in action for nearly two months and all those matches were played on district basis in round one. The 100 teams that qualified to play in final round played their matches at the Maligapitiya, Kurunegala courts on November 4, 5 and 6.
The Men and Women teams that qualify for the final in Super League and Amateur will clash for supremacy on November 18 at the National Youth council Indoor Courts. The Awards ceremony is to be held soon after the fianls of both sections are completed on this day.
