Pee Bee Management Services (Private) Limited, the manufacturer of Flora Tissues, was presented an award under the category ‘Top SME in Asia’ at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Awards (ACES) 2017 organized by Mors Group.
The grand award Ceremony was held in Singapore on the 26th of October 2017, and the Award was received by the Company Managing Director, Kishore Surtani.
Pee Bee Management Services (Private) Limited, was established with the primary objective of introducing an array of Soft Disposable Tissue Paper products to Sri Lanka.
Flora Tissues – the flagship brand under the group’s umbrella of products – commenced business in the industrial zone in Ratmalana, with a just 10 employees and sales of their initial production was restricted to limited distribution channels.
Today, the Company has its own production plant, storage and distribution facility spanning over 50,000 square feet, in the Katuwana Industrial Zone in Homagama, with over 250 employees.
Managing Director Kishore Surtani says: “The brand benefits from strong loyalty from consumers who consider Flora Tissues products to be unique, hygienic and innovative.
The brand’s core strength lies in providing consumers consistent quality products that build a strong bond and satisfy their needs, which is mirrored by our market share.”
He points out that the constant demand for Flora Tissues is due to the brand awareness strategies that the company’s marketing division conscientiously implements, with regular consumer promotions held in various modern trade outlets around the country.
Elaborating further, he says: “We have a dedicated senior management team that follows the company vision and mission statements and quality policy, to ensure that the brand management function is carried effectively. The Company is currently working on its four-year vision of doubling revenue and increasing brand value effectively.”
