The leader of the House and Higher Education and Highways Minister Lakshman Kiriella told Parliament yesterday that Provincial Councils and Local Government Minister Faiszer Musthapha was currently abroad and had left the country without even informing Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
He said that it is not known as to why he made the foreign tour, despite the Premier’s instructions to all Ministers not to make any overseas visits during the budget debate.
Minister Kiriella made these statements in response to an oral question raised by Chief Opposition Whip Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
