They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words. In our newest facet, we feature a series of photographs taken by Sunday Observer cameramen that highlight different aspects of everyday life of our community.
We also will be expanding the opportunity to our beloved readers to send in their photographs, the ones that they feel will interest others, and where valuable prizes too could be won.
In this week’s segment; Vendors are back in action after the holiday season; and so are the consumers. During a field day in the city last week our photographer captured many moods of street vendors, a lonely cobbler and enthusiastic consumers buying food, fruits, and household items - while some tourists took time off to enjoy a ride down the busy streets in a modified tuk tuk in the Pettah.
