He was a Senior Income Tax Assessor in Sri Lanka and Botswana and a Tax Accountant in Columbus, Ohio. He was the beloved husband of Sarojini. The son of late Reverend B.C.D. and Navamani Mather, loving father of Niran, Cheryl (Darryl) Phillips and Cayl Shalini (Indran) Arumainayagam, grandfather of Nicole, Alyssa, David, Christine and Michael, brother of late Manoranjan (Thelma), Pathmini (late Rajan Arnold) and Ranjini (John Woodhouse). He will be greatly missed by family and his many friends. The funeral service was held on Wednesday January 10, and thereafter he was laid to rest at Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio, USA.005938
