Royal College Doctors’ Annual Clinic on Feb. 25

The Annual Teachers’ Clinic for the past and present teachers organised by the Royal College Doctors’ Association will be held on Sunday, February 25 from 7.30 a.m. at the Navaragahala and the Middle School premises, for 19th consecutive year.

The Association endeavours to provide the following services:

• Screening of all participants; • Speciality clinics;• Investigations including ECG, FBS, Serum Cholesterol, Urine analysis and Ultrasound Scanning; • Well Woman clinic (PAP smears and breast cancer screenings); • Dental clinic; • Individual sessions on ‘Health and Nutrition’; • Alzheimer’s memory assessment.

All participant-teachers will be provided with an individual health record file with relevant information documented, which will be beneficial for future consultations. For FBS and S. Cholesterol 10 hours fasting is required.
