This year’s New Year celebration organised by the Adelaide Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara Committee and the Adelaide Sinhala Buddhist School was held recently at Para Hills High School Hall. Sinhala Buddhist School students presented several events. The chief incumbent of Adelaide Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara, Ven. Udagabbala Sumedha Thero, President of Buddhist Vihara Committee, Hiran Senaratne and Honorary Consul for the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Adelaide, Dr. Charitha Perera also participated. Here are few highlights of the celebrations.
