Harvesters Assist Inc. a non-profit organisation, set up in Sydney, since 2009 donated a ValleyLab LS10 Vessel Sealing Generator at a cost of Rs. 1.5 m. and a SonoSurg-G2 Ultrasonic Generator at Rs.1.910 m. to the Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama. Here Dr Panduka Jayasekara, Consultant Oncologist and Dr Minoli Joseph, Senior Registrar in Cancer Surgery receive the donation from the founders of Harvesters Assist, Rajan and Visithra Rajeswaran at a ceremony held on May 9. Dr. Suresh Britto and Reuben Vethanayagam representing the District Grand Lodge of Sri Lanka were present.
