Royal College trounced Zahira College by 41 points to 5 after leading 31-5 at half time in their second round match of the inter-school League rugby tournament at the Roya lComplex ground in Colombo yesterday.

Royal ran down as many as seven tries and converted three while Zahira replied with just a solitary try.

It marked Royal’s sixth win in a row.

Royal rested some of their front-line players and that was sufficient to defeat Zahira whose forwards were outplayed by the home team from the start.

They were superior in ball-play while Zahira had no chance to heap any pressure on Royal.
