Twenty eight teams are taking part in the Mercantile F division 25 over League cricket tournament which is already underway and concludes on June 17 at MCA ground Wijerama Mawatha.
Roshan Iddamalgoda the president of the Mercantile Cricket Association said this time the F division tournament will be more competitive with more teams.Regnis Lanka the debutant of the tournament with other talented teams are expected to be a very strong competitor and the most significant factor is that for the first time Fairfirst Insurance has come forward to sponsor this tournament.
Maliban Biscuits were the champs last year.
