Vihara Maha Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Kandy won the under-20 girls soccer title while Kingswood College won the under-20 boys soccer title at the Provincial Soccer Tournament concluded at the Bogambara Stadium on May 15.
In the final Vihara Maha Devi Balika defeated Pilawela MV by two goals to nil. Goal scorers were H. Ruwanthi and F. Rashida for the winners while in the boys final the Kingwoodians defeated Gampola Zahirians 1-0.
In the closely contested game, the winning goal was scored by Nilushan Nethmina of Kingswood.
John Bosco and Wickremabahu won the under-18 and 16 titles respectively.
