The great elephant gathering in Asia, a wildlife documentary film directed by Dilum Alagiyawanna will be screened at the Tharanganee Cinema (Film Corporation Theatre) on July 6 at 6.30 pm. The film, based on the annual Elephant gathering of Minneriya National Park won the ‘Best Animal Behaviour Award’ at the 16th Japan Wildlife Film Festival held in Tokyo in April. The event has been organized by the Ruhunu University Alumni Colombo Association and the reunion of alumni members will be held soon after the film at 7.30 pm at the OPA.
