S.Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia won the Eric Hulangamuwa Shield when the defeated St.Thomas’ College Matale in their fourth annual hockey encounter played at the Reid Avenue Astro Turf yesterday.
The winners scored the winning goal through K.Prakash in the middle of the first half.
In the junior game the Mount Lavinia Thomians won 2-0 with goals from D Luxman and Dulmeth Perera in the second half.
Former cricketer and old Thomian Anura Tennakoon graced the occasion as chief guest and presented the trophies to the winners.
