The Junior, Senior, Open and Masters Athletic Championship organized by the Kandy District Athletic Association was held on November 3 and 4 at the Bogambara Stadium, Kandy and the following were adjudged best athletes.
Best Athletes:
Under-12 Girls: P. Pallegama (Pushpadana BV long jump)
Under-12 Boys: M.A.A.Shan (Trinity College long jump)
Under-13 Girls: K. Kotuwegedara (Vihara Maha Devi 100m)
Under-13 Boys: G. Devapriya (Nugawela MMV high jump)
Under-14 Girls: T. Nayanamini (Pushpadana BV high jump)
Under-14 Boys: W. Gunasinghe (Dheerananda MV long jump)
Under-15 Girls: H. Rangajeewa (Vihara Maha Devi 400m)
Under-15 Boys: R. Rupasinghe (Kingswood College 100m)
