Table tennis players from NSBM bag Colours

The National School of Business Management (NSBM) held its sports Colours Night to recognize their sportsmen and sportswomen in their fold.

NSBM has provided a platform for students to take part in many sports popular in Sri Lanka such as table tennis, athletics, cricket, karate and football.

There are a number of NSBM students who excelled in sports participating at national level tournaments. NSBM has also provided immense assistance to students keen to continue in sports at the inter university level. The table tennis team was awarded Colours for their impressive performances exhibited in a number of competitions while the team also participated in the inter university tournament which was contested by government and private universities of Sri Lanka. The NSBM girls’ team was able to secure the third place while the boys’ team took the fourth place in the tournament.

Their players were able to achieve semi final and quarter final positions in the Singles of the tournament while Avindi de Silva became girls’ best player and Kevin Wijesundara the best player in the boys’ category in 2018.
