Sensationa junior golfers Taniya Balasuriya and Vinod Weerasinghe became Sri Lanka Junior golf champions at the Open tournament that concluded at the RCGC course on Friday.

This was also their third win in a row. Weerasinghe emerged the boys winner with a score of 220 while Taniya finished with a score of 217. Her closest rival was another up and coming golfer in Kayla Perera who obtained a score of 234.

Ceylon Agro Industries and Prima Group sponsored this championship for the 12th consecutive year.
