Jeremy Bolling
Jeremy Bolling, a former swimmer but of less repute unlike his legendary brother Julian, passed away and his funeral took place yesterday.
Jeremy swan for Royal College and set up several records but did not pursue the sport the way his brother Julian won several international medals especially five golds at the South Asian Games in Colombo in 1991.
As an adventurous youth, Jeremy tried his hand at sailing and contested local as well as international meets although he could not make the grade as a professional sailor.
He was also a water polo player and son of Tara Bolling who was considered the matriarch of Sri Lanka swimming.
