Sigiriya

10 March, 2019

During the August vacation, I went with my parents on a trip to Sigiriya. We left home at about 5.00 a.m. and reached Sigiriya around 11.00 a.m. Sigiriya is a rock fortress that was built by King Kashyapa. It is in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. There is a lion’s gate, mirror walls, landscaped gardens and caves in Sigiriya. We arrived home in Bandarawela around 10.00 p.m. It was enjoyable and an unforgettable journey for me.
