Intimate Attachment...

Beautiful things lose their value
When at last each day is done,
The smiling sun at dawn break
Its gold complexion dimmed at night’s wake,
Colourful roses bloom in the morn,
Twinkling dew drops do them adorn,
As the sun hides behind the clouds,
All this glamour fades without doubt!
But -
Among the days and years,
What ever else be lost
one thing shall remain,
Its meaning never ends!
Doubts may assail us,
Or even fears,
But friendship holds us close,
with sweet remembrance.
