Mama Kamathima Chocolate Meya Asa Biscuit in Kandy

24 March, 2019

Directed by Sachithra Rahubadda and produced by Thimira Rajapakse, Mama Kamathima Chocolate Meya Asa Biscuit is a drama on the theme that the family is the most valuable entity in the whole world. This drama can entertain children and adults alike, and speaks about a current problem faced by them but not discussed by many.

In a society where trends rule the world, directors and producers do not tend to produce such dramas. But here we have a drama bringing you the best entertainment to all drama enthusiasts, breaking all barriers.

Mama Kamathima Chocolate Meya Asa Biscuit has used the method of developing a script through the actors themselves as practised mostly in Western countries, and using new dramatic technologies and methods of acting.

The drama revolves around the story of two families, one without a mother and the other without a father, and how it is balanced and affects children and about allowing the children to follow their own dreams.

The cast comprises Chandani Seneviratne, Janaka Kumbukage and Jayanath Bandara together with award winning child actress and actors Imaya Bogoda, Navindu Manathunga and Shanaka Udara.

Starting off the journey of Mama Kamathima Chocolate Meya Asa Biscuit, with its premier held at the Bishop’s College auditorium, nearly 25 shows have now been held throughout Sri Lanka. Encouraged by the requests and the feedback we got from our drama enthusiasts we are ready to bring Mama Kamathima Chocolate Meya Asa Biscuit to Kandy, and invite all drama enthusiasts to join us on March 29 at the Dharmaraja College auditorium.
