KPMG values the benefits of a foundation of education and lifelong learning and strives to develop professionals with strong values and integrity. KPMG has been a leader in the industry for over 120 years, and nurtures accountants with high professional standards.

Since 2007, KPMG has partnered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as an organisation that shares similar values and commitment to youth and education.

KPMG was recognised by ACCA recently, and renewed its Platinum Employer status for Trainee Development and Professional Development up to 2021. ACCA has played a significant role in supporting organisations to build talent by tailoring their qualification to suit the unique requirements and business capabilities needed by the industry to produce work ready professionals.

With the ACCA Approved Employer program, KPMG in Sri Lanka has been able to attract the best talent in the field.

Head of Audit and Learning at KPMG, Suren Rajakarier said, “We have provided professional development to over 250 peope over the past five years with our structured continuous learning programs and we continue to be the largest employer of ACCA members and students in Sri Lanka.”

Rajakarier, is also the Chairman of the ACCA Sri Lanka Member Network Panel for the period 2018/19.

“We were the first company to receive Platinum status in Sri Lanka in 2007 and are really happy to have retained it till 2021 because with the ACCA Approved Employer program, our company is positioned to be the employer of choice in the local market for accountants,” he said.
