‘SDB Uththamavi’sponsored a workshop for women in Ampara to mark International Women’s Day. It was organised by SDB bank’s Ampara and Hingurana branches with the Ampara District Secretariatat the Co-op Inn, Ampara recently.
Nearly 200 women in the area participated in this workshop which elaborated financial literacy, market linkages and entrepreneurship skills to the participants.The participants were briefed on savings, investments and encouraged towards business start-ups.
