The latest book I read is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling. It was first published by Bloomsbury in 1998. There are seven books in the Harry Potter series and this is the second book.
This is Harry’s second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For the second time in Hogwarts the Chamber of Secrets was opened again and this time it was not by Hagrid but by Ron’s little sister Ginny Weasley.
She was enchanted by Voldemort and was forced to open the Chamber of Secrets.
After coming to Hogwarts, Harry hears some hissing voices which Ron and Hermione cannot hear. It was the pet Basilisk of Salazar Slytherin, one of the wizards who constructed Hogwarts. Can Harry defeat the Basilisk and Lord Voldemort?
