The French Spring Festival, one of the biggest festivals in Sri Lanka, will return with a brand new program.
Organised jointly by the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, the Alliance Française de Kotte, the French Spring Festival will honour French culture excellence and modernity during events and shows in Colombo and Kandy from June 14.
This year, it’s the famous pianist Shani Diluka who will celebrate music.
As a French classical pianist from Sri-Lankan parents, Shani Diluka establishes bridges between her origins and her European life.
She will present “Cosmos” at Bishop’s College, in Colombo, with Indian musicians Sahana Benerjee at sitar and Prabhu Edouard at tablas.
