Dr S. Sridharan , the Acting Director General of Health Services stated issuing a press release that the Government is making arrangements to home deliver the medicinal drugs from Tuesday onwards (13) for the elderly patients with chronic diseases.
The delivery is to commence from Gampaha and Colombo Districts and later to expand island wide.
The press release further stated that the patients to not to visit the clinics till further notice as a precautionary action to contain Covid-19. In any medical emergency, the patients are advised to visit the nearest hospital.
