Kalutara cricket umpire retires after 30 years

   Chandranath Weerakkody of the Kalutara District Umpires Association who served for 30 years retired from umpiring.  Here the Kalutara District Cricket Association organized a match to give him a grand farewell at the Kalutara Public Cricket Ground recently.  Prior to the commencement of the match a guard of honour was held with the participation of the two teams and the Kalutara district umpires and other well wishers.
