Youngster arrested for promoting Prabhakaran via TikTok

A 25 year old individual has been arrested for promoting LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran on TikTok, stated the Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana.

Under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, the suspect was arrested for promoting terrorists by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID).

DIG further urged the public not to share any news, videos or pictures related to terrorism or extremism on social media.
