Pettah Cosmetic Association (PCA) has organized its second annual seven-a-side indoor cricket tournament to be held today from 8 am at the Sports World, Negombo Road, Peliyagoda.
The jersey launching ceremony was held at the Acropol Restaurant, Colpetty on January 23 in the presence of chief guest Colombo Municipal Councilor Dayakantha Perera.
President of the PCA Nilantha Perera said the tournament will be contested by cosmetic traders and the champion team will receive a prize Rs. 100,000 while the runners-up team will receive Rs. 50,000 and second runners up Rs. 25,000 along with trophies and medals.
He said the best bowler, fielder, and batter will receive Rs. 10,000 each and the man of the series Rs. 15,000.
The teams participating are Lolane Lions, Rainbow Super Kings, Royal Blues, Aalia’s -7, NR Kings, Pettah Essence, V.S. Strikers, Cosmetic Kings, Black Caps, Golden Giants, SLC Warriors, Colourful Guys, Colombo United, Lulu, Revance Stars and Pearl Kings in this tournament.
