The Kandy District Cricket Association has put on hold its decision to conduct their inter club division III tournament that was to commence on April 20 and end on May 25.
An organizing committee official said the postponement was made due to the prevailing situation in the country.
As many as 40 matches were on the cards and the teams lined up were Prisons SC, Blue Universal SC, Kandy Bloomfield CC, Liverpool SC, Kandy Youth CC, Kandy Zeylanikans CC, Old Antonians SC, Southerland SC, Kandy CC, Visuvious SC, Old Trinitians SC, Black Eagle CC, Ekamuthu SC, Galagedera CC, Madawala CC, Old Zahirians SC, Saracens CC, Gampola CC, Sylvestrians CC and Old Rajans SC
The 50-over tournament was to be played at the Prison ground Pallekelle, St. Anthony’s College ground Katugastota, Trinity College ground Asgiriya and Dharmaraja College ground Lake View.
