CHINNIAH - DAMAYANTI RANI nee ANKETELL (6 Oct. 1940 - 5 Aug 2022) - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Bennet of 52 years. Loving mother of David and Timothy, mother-in-law of Renuka and Sharla, grandmother of Analise and Joshua, sister of the late Balan and Eva Anketell, Drs. Inpam and Karunyan Arulanantham, Dr. Arul and Ranji Anketell, Suren and Christine Anketell and Gnane and Chandra Anketell. Daughter of the late Ernest Balasingham and Thapomani (died when Damyanti was 2 months). Her father remarried the late Susan Anketell whom she knew as her mother. Damayanti was a teacher loved by her students in Sri Lanka and the US. She taught High School Science and Scripture at Methodist College, Sri Lanka. A Memorial Service will be held at the Faith Christian Fellowship Church, 505 E. 42nd Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21218 on Saturday, August 13, 2022 beginning at 11 a.m.046715
