The person that I like most is Lionel Messi. He was born on June 24, 1987. His motherland is Argentina. Messi’s first teacher was his loving and kind father, whose name is Seelia Olivaira. His grandmother said,” He surely would be a world star in football”.
His father is a steel worker in a factory and his mother is a cleaner. At the age of 11, Messi was diagnosed with Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD). This indicates the poverty of his family. When on the playground, Messi looked small.
In the Argentinian sports world, his nick-name is La Pulga which means flea. He won the ‘FIFA World Player of the Year’ five times. He has often been described as Diego Maradona’s successor because of his prolific goal scoring record and ability to dribble past opponents.
