My hero is not Batman, Spiderman or Superman. I actualy have a heroine. It is Mother Teresa, the ‘Angel of Mercy of India’
She was born in Yugoslavia on August 26, 1910. She became a nun at the age of 18 and took the name Teresa. She began to help people who were disowned by society. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1976 for her great work for the poor.
Mother Teresa passed away on September 15, 1997. It was a dark day for the whole world. I salute her even now, no matter where she is!
