Swisstek Aluminium was awarded the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Verification recently, further affirming its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
This recognition was granted by the National Cleaner Production Centre confirming that Swisstek Aluminium’s carbon footprint monitoring system has achieved a “reasonable level of assurance” in accordance with the internationally recognised ISO 14064-3:2019 standard.
ISO 14064-3:2019, a comprehensive framework developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), provides guidelines for verifying greenhouse gas emissions and removals statements. The verification process, conducted independently by the National Cleaner Production Centre, adheres to strict assessments to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of an organisation’s reported greenhouse gas emissions and removals data.

Swisstek Aluminium was recently honoured with the ISO 50001:2018 certification for its Energy Management System (EnMS) by the Sri Lanka Standards Institute, establishing them as the first in the industry to secure this certification. The GHG Verification aligned with ISO 14064-3:2019 marks a milestone for Swisstek Aluminium Limited.
